{"id":1795,"date":"2024-05-14T06:26:27","date_gmt":"2024-05-14T06:26:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tcbeduguide.in\/?page_id=1795"},"modified":"2025-07-24T06:42:39","modified_gmt":"2025-07-24T06:42:39","slug":"about-neet-2024","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/tcbeduguide.in\/?page_id=1795","title":{"rendered":"ABOUT NEET 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) \u2013 2024, here in after referred to as NEET (UG) \u2013 2025.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>There shall be conducted a uniform entrance examination to all medical educational institutions at the undergraduate level and post-graduate level through such designated authority in Hindi, English and such other languages and in such manner as may be prescribed and the designated authority shall ensure the conduct of uniform entrance examination in the aforesaid manner; Provided that not with standing any judgment or order of any court, the provisions of this section shall not apply, in relation to the uniform entrance examination at the undergraduate level for the academic year 2016-17 conducted in accordance with any regulations made under this Act, in respect of the State Government seats (whether in Government Medical College or in a private Medical College) where such State has not opted for such examinations\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>The objectives of NTA, inter-alia, include:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>To conduct efficient, transparent and international standard tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>To undertake research on educational, professional and testing system to identify gaps in the knowledge systems and take steps for bridging them.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>To identify experts and institutions in setting examination questions.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>To produce and disseminate information and research on education and professional development standards.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The responsibility of<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>NTA\u00a0is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>All India Rank\u00a0to the<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Directorate<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Government of India.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>NEET UG 2024\u00a0 Entrance Test\u00a0 DATE:-<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test\u00a0<strong>NEET (UG) \u2013 2024\u00a0<\/strong>will be conducted on 05\u00a0May, 2024\u00a0 (Sunday)\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>02:00 p.m. to 05:20\u00a0p.m.\u00a0<\/strong>The duration of test will be three (03:20) hours. The schedule will remain unaltered even if the date of test is declared a public holiday.<\/span><\/h6>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>NEET UG 2025 Information. NEET UG 2025 General Instructions:-<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test\u00a0<strong>NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>will be conducted\u00a0<strong>as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Merely appearing and qualifying in\u00a0<strong>NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to\u00a0<strong>MBBS\/ BDS\/ BAMS\/ BUMS and BSMS\u00a0Courses<\/strong>. The selection and admission to\u00a0<strong>MBBS\/ BDS\/ BAMS\/ BUMS and BSMS\u00a0<\/strong>seats in any Medical Institution recognized for offering\u00a0<strong>MBBS\/ BDS\/ BAMS\/ BUMS and BSMS Courses\u00a0<\/strong>is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the Government of India, respective States, Universities, Institutions and Medical\/Dental Colleges.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applications of candidates submitting false and fabricated information will not be considered and such candidates will be further debarred from appearing in examinations conducted by the\u00a0<strong>NTA<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Incomplete application and applications not in accordance with instructions will not be considered and are liable to be rejected without any further intimation. The examination fee once deposited will not be refunded in such cases.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fee will neither be carried forward to a future examination nor refunded. Submission of online application and remittance of fee would close as per the schedule given and no request for extension of time shall be entertained. Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Candidates must note that mere deduction of fee from the bank account is not a proof of fee payment. The payment should be supported by fee updating and <strong>generation<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>of Confirmation Page<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Instructions in the Information Bulletin may change based on decisions taken by the\u00a0<strong>NTA\u00a0<\/strong>and other authorities from time to time. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website https:\/\/exams.nta.ac.in\/NEET in for any further updates or information.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>NTA\u00a0<\/strong>reserves the right to withdraw permission, if any, granted inadvertently to any candidate who is not eligible to appear in the\u00a0<strong>NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>even though the Roll Number and Admit Card has been issued by the\u00a0<strong>NTA<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Candidate\u2019s eligibility for\u00a0<strong>NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>is purely provisional and is subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the\u00a0<strong>MOH &amp;FW\/MCI\/DCI\/NTA\/MCC\/<\/strong>other admitting Institution as applicable.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In case of any ambiguity in interpretation of any of the instructions\/ terms\/ rules\/criteria regarding determination of eligibility\/conduct of examination\/ registration of candidates\/information contained therein, the interpretation of the\u00a0<strong>NTA\u00a0<\/strong>shall be final and binding.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The conduct of\u00a0<strong>NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>Examination would be video graphed.
