National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) \u2013 2024, here in after referred to as NEET (UG) \u2013 2025.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n
There shall be conducted a uniform entrance examination to all medical educational institutions at the undergraduate level and post-graduate level through such designated authority in Hindi, English and such other languages and in such manner as may be prescribed and the designated authority shall ensure the conduct of uniform entrance examination in the aforesaid manner; Provided that not with standing any judgment or order of any court, the provisions of this section shall not apply, in relation to the uniform entrance examination at the undergraduate level for the academic year 2016-17 conducted in accordance with any regulations made under this Act, in respect of the State Government seats (whether in Government Medical College or in a private Medical College) where such State has not opted for such examinations\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

The objectives of NTA, inter-alia, include:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    To conduct efficient, transparent and international standard tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

    To undertake research on educational, professional and testing system to identify gaps in the knowledge systems and take steps for bridging them.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

    To identify experts and institutions in setting examination questions.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

    The responsibility of<\/strong>\u00a0NTA\u00a0is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing<\/strong>\u00a0All India Rank\u00a0to the<\/strong>\u00a0Directorate<\/strong>\u00a0General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,<\/strong>\u00a0Government of India.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    NEET UG 2024\u00a0 Entrance Test\u00a0 DATE:-<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
    National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test\u00a0NEET (UG) \u2013 2024\u00a0<\/strong>will be conducted on 05\u00a0May, 2024\u00a0 (Sunday)\u00a0from\u00a002:00 p.m. to 05:20\u00a0p.m.\u00a0<\/strong>The duration of test will be three (03:20) hours. The schedule will remain unaltered even if the date of test is declared a public holiday.<\/span><\/h6>\n

    NEET UG 2025 Information. NEET UG 2025 General Instructions:-<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

      National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test\u00a0NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>will be conducted\u00a0as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the<\/strong>\u00a0Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time.<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Merely appearing and qualifying in\u00a0NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to\u00a0MBBS\/ BDS\/ BAMS\/ BUMS and BSMS\u00a0Courses<\/strong>. The selection and admission to\u00a0MBBS\/ BDS\/ BAMS\/ BUMS and BSMS\u00a0<\/strong>seats in any Medical Institution recognized for offering\u00a0MBBS\/ BDS\/ BAMS\/ BUMS and BSMS Courses\u00a0<\/strong>is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the Government of India, respective States, Universities, Institutions and Medical\/Dental Colleges.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      Applications of candidates submitting false and fabricated information will not be considered and such candidates will be further debarred from appearing in examinations conducted by the\u00a0NTA<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Incomplete application and applications not in accordance with instructions will not be considered and are liable to be rejected without any further intimation. The examination fee once deposited will not be refunded in such cases.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      Fee will neither be carried forward to a future examination nor refunded. Submission of online application and remittance of fee would close as per the schedule given and no request for extension of time shall be entertained. Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Candidates must note that mere deduction of fee from the bank account is not a proof of fee payment. The payment should be supported by fee updating and generation<\/strong>\u00a0of Confirmation Page<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      Instructions in the Information Bulletin may change based on decisions taken by the\u00a0NTA\u00a0<\/strong>and other authorities from time to time.       NTA\u00a0<\/strong>reserves the right to withdraw permission, if any, granted inadvertently to any candidate who is not eligible to appear in the\u00a0NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>even though the Roll Number and Admit Card has been issued by the\u00a0NTA<\/strong>.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      Candidate\u2019s eligibility for\u00a0NEET (UG) \u2013 2025 <\/strong>is purely provisional and is subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the\u00a0MOH &FW\/MCI\/DCI\/NTA\/MCC\/<\/strong>other admitting Institution as applicable.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      In case of any ambiguity in interpretation of any of the instructions\/ terms\/ rules\/criteria regarding determination of eligibility\/conduct of examination\/ registration of candidates\/information contained therein, the interpretation of the\u00a0NTA\u00a0<\/strong>shall be final and binding.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

            Eligibility for appearing in\u00a0NEET (UG)is as stipulated in\u00a0Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 as amended in 2018.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

                                  NEET UG 2025 Instructions for completing on-line Application Form:-<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

                                  • The candidate, before submitting the application form online, must ensure his eligibility to appear in the test. The candidate is required to go through the Information Bulletin carefully and be clear about the all requirements with regard to the submission of the Application Form.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                    • The Candidate should fill in complete postal address with the pin code and email address (own or parents only) for future correspondence.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                            • Candidates appearing in Class XII in 2025 should fill-up qualifying code as 01.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                              • The Application Form other than the one filled in online mode will not be accepted, under any circumstances. The Candidates are not required to send the Confirmation Page of Online Application Form to the\u00a0NTA.                                                                 Cash Deposit through e-challan:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

                                                                • After completing Step 2 of online Application Form, candidate will be prompted to generate e-slip. Print e-slip on A4 size paper-Landscape format from\u00a0NEET (UG) \u2013 2024\u00a0websitentaneet.nic.in and follow instructions given on e-slip and make payment through e challan.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                • Print the Confirmation Page (Step-4) of online application after completion of Step-3 i.e. payment through Debit\/Credit card\/ Net Banking\/Cash Deposit through e-challan.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                • If candidate fails to complete all the steps upto step 4, the final Submission of Online Application will remain incomplete and unsuccessful.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                • Generation of Confirmation Page confirms final submission of Application Form. If Confirmation Page has not been generated, this means that Application Form has not been submitted successfully.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                                                  Note: In case, the fee payment status is ot \u2018OK\u2019 the candidates are advised as following:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

                                                                  • If the fee is paid through e-challan by depositing cash in State Bank of India, the candidate should contact immediately the concerned bank to update his\/her fee status on the website.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                  • If the fee is paid through credit\/debit card and status is not OK, it means the transaction is cancelled. Therefore, such candidates have to pay the fee once again and ensure the OK fee status.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n

                                                                        Candidates are advised to use following photographs:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

                                                                        • Passport size photographs with white background and focus on face, eyes looking into the camera and ears visible should be used. Clear and latest photograph must be used for uploading on online Application Form and for Counselling\/Admission.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                        • The photograph must be recent, with no scenery or other objects in background.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                        • Photograph should not have cap or goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                        • Polaroid and Computer generated photos are not acceptable. Applications not complying with these instructions or without clear photographs are liable to be rejected. Candidates may please note that if it is found that photograph affixed is fabricated i.e. de-shaped or seems to be manipulated or digitally edited, the form of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using Unfairmeans and candidate would accordingly be dealt with as per the rules of Unfairmeans.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                        • The candidates must upload their signature in the appropriate box given in the online Application Form\u00a0in running hand writing. Placing initials is not acceptable. Writing full name in the\u00a0Box in Capital letters would not be\u00a0accepted as signature and the Application Form would be rejected.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                        • The candidates must ensure that photograph and signature are uploaded in the respective fields.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                        • The candidates are required to upload their scanned photograph of size (between 10 kb \u2013 200 kb). The system will allow uploading of photograph with one face only by using the technique of face-detection.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                                                                        • Furthermore the candidates are required to carry the same photograph in Passport size to the examination centre as is uploaded in the Application Form. This is needed for pasting on Attendance Sheet on the day of examination.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                                                          • Information related to candidature will be available in the candidate\u2019s login account. If confirmation page is not shown in login account, candidates are advised to immediately complete Step-3 of online Application and get the printout of Confirmation Page (Step-4) to complete the process within the prescribed last date of submission of fee.\u00a0The Confirmation Page is the only proof of payment\u00a0and updating of fee in the account of the candidate. Candidates may please note that Admit Cards will not be sent by post. When candidate will download the Admit Card, a copy of the same in PDF format will also be emailed to the candidate on the registered email id.
